City of Angels

'City of Angels' is two musicals rolled into one. On one hand we have Stone, a writer, who, fresh from New York, has come to Hollywood to adapt one of his private-eye novels for the screen. On the other hand we have his film noir screenplay taking place, in which Stone haunts the streets in his quest to find a missing girl.
