Follies

The many different elements of Follies are tied together by Stephen Sondheim's wonderful score. Indeed, it can be argued that Sondheim has written three different types of music to illustrate the three meanings of "Follies" ; The delightful parodies of the bygone revues; The songs that reveal the characters' own present day follies; and the exposed obsessions of the Loveland sequence.
